Hey Wes just checkin in. If I may correct you sir.Your foto of the open class start at Volcano Cliffs lists Stevie Chavez on a Maico. I am sure he was on his TM4OO in that shot. No fork boots and jersey seem to support that. I was at that race and remeber Stevie tank slappin his way down the straights. I survived ownership of one of those death machines my self. When are we going ridin?

Hey Jerkoff, it's working.

But here's the deal.

All right you guys. Start signing the guest book. I don't care if you are inundated with email spam (it's not my fault and you don't have to read it). You owe it to yourself to sign, use your real email address, and be instantly reconnected with your past.

That is all. Carry on.

I want to see Mike VanBibber, Paul Grovsner, Pete Fitzpatrick, Dave Hartwick, Jesse Mexican, Tracy O'Kelly, Waylon Frentress, Little Jimmy Czerepak, Matt Henze, Suds Wilson, Dick Sandwich, Steve Bolt, Melvin I can't remember his last name, and James White (Mike White too {not related}) names in here right now and their correct email addresses.

Howdy from Bum F*** Egypt, and good to hear from all you scooter riders-Keep in mind there is a reason we all have those old style beercan openers in our tool boxes-- those factory beercan openings just don't cut it!! Fact..Hello to Mike Turbo and all the other racers at the Hot Tub and at big Berthas Beer Barn, we miss all of you and the good times had by all after a good ride and stopping by the "BARN" to pound down a ton of brew.. Did happen to see some of the old scooter gang , checked out some old CZ's in the trailer and we all got some new CZ hats and CZ jerseys.. We have some real neat colors and great quality designs. We also have some Frankilin Johnson Goat Breed'n hats and stickers, The jerseys and mugs are on the way.. Wes good to hear from you and the gang and hope to have you on the tral before too long..Don't forget to drop an "Oprah" in the crapper, and no top shelfing allowed. Keep your helmet polished and your stinger clean and don't let your spark arrestor get plugged up.. Keep your skinheaded buddy away from all the grandmothers and away from the "FUNBOX" --ie-the beer cooler.
Later from BFE DIRK

Please, any Info, tech tips or pics onTY 250 welcome. I guess its 75-81. Or just your email so I have a few brains to pic in the future. Ive ridden dirt bikes for a while and always enjoyed the slower technical bits so trials seemed a good move. My opertunity came in the form of an exchange of a superbike tyre and a seized TY 250. Oh the satisfaction of sticking Q20 in the plug hole, rocking forward and back and starting. I suppose some of us have to play chess on the week end! Im new at this trial thing so no tip is to small. Your reward will be in the bush...no wait it over there up that steep rocky hill covered in a bit of moss. NO!! its...... Im shure youll find it next time youre riding.a

It's all true. I once got too tipsy at a Georgetown party. I caught a glimps of the big G man dropping his shorts to use the potty and the harry yellow legs burned their image into my eyes! I tried to blind myself by grabbing some of little joe's carb cleaner and rinsing my eyes out with it. That didnt work so I took 2 cans of R-12 and froze them solid. Then I used a screwdirve to crack my frozen orbs and chisel out the eyes that had given me such pain. Now I live in a home for old blind hags... P>S> I love you little joe! Just the thought of you makes my legs go stiff (and for me to pass a little gas). You are such a MAN! The only one with more wood is your buddy Mr. Moore! Sigh.... Linda P.

First, Cyndy you do not, should not, would not want to see the mighty George in his short! That picture is slightly dark for a reason (he curled the film within the camera)! Man Wes, this is a blast from the past. Didnt realize it at the time, but being around there was a right of passage for me. And yes, I feel so dirty! You need to get off that crazy facination with old tacos though. Consider getting yourself a quality vintage piece of Austrian KTM iron. You will be a better man from the experience! P>S> George, what side of the planet you living on you turd sandwich!

I was in town with The Checkered Demon and all the old Pirates and went to the old bike shop in Turkey town and notices that all the old bikers had gotten fat and were pounding down tons of ale and their teeth were falling out and their gums were bleeding and their bikes were leaking and smelled real bad. After a few laps around the track at night after a few bottles of Boones Farm and a case of beer things seemed to come back in focus. A big bonfire and more brew and a few fights and lots of cussing and pissing we were all old friends again. The Tree Frog Beer and the Blatz wixed with the sounds of the thundering dummys was all I needed.

The site looks great and I really like the background. Good stuff. A couple of times this winter when it was below zero I pulled out the pics you sent me from your ride in those green woods. It made me feel better, therapy is often necessary when the snow flies! Take care.

Excellent, some pics missing though.
I used to buy the American mags, Dirt Bike , MXA and Cycle.
Always felt jealous that you guys had huge desserts to roam in,I guess that has all changed now with the BLM closing everything down.
Whatever happened to Super Hunky ?
If you see him send him my regards!

Doooode, I love the pictures of you with all of your hair. I've found that if I use a pair of pliers, I can yank all of the hair from my nose and it lasts longer than nose hair trimming.

Great site you got here! I own a '74 Yamaha TY 250 that I have owned for 22 years
and a '72 Husky with a '75 175cc 5 speed. If you want to see pictures I have a page
on my web site for them. http://home.earthlink.net/~tre23bor/bikes/bikes.html
I don't ride as much as I used to mainly because the area I live in has been taken
over by affluence and it seems to be a crime against the enviorment.
My wife and I purchased a 13.3 acre parcel of land in NH for a fraction of the
cost of one of those silly SUVs so I still have hope of riding free again!
Thanks for the entertainment and if you like to ride don't move to Mass.

This site brings back a lot of memories from yesteryear. Last year I got out a couple of 5 gallon buckets and put back together my old elsinore and raced the open vintage class and it was a blast. Got more bikes on the way 76YZ400 and SC500A I'm hoping to try theese out soon. Great site, keep the sport alive. Andy

I'm 33 and just got bit by the dirt bike bug again, after not having ridden one since the age of 14. Currently restoring a '78 Maico 400 for casual trail riding (my body can't take the fast stuff anymore either). Great stories that I can relate to from when I used to run to Carlisle, PA every year for the swap meet and camp out with the guys (always seemed to spend more money on beer than we made selling parts).

Nice site dude ! I ran across it in coolboard at MAICOMADNESS. I race MAICOs in the Florida Vintage Series and sometimes a couple of AHRMA nationals. I have a 1974.5 GP 440 MAICO and a 1977 AW 400 MAICO. By the way, where can I get one of those often spoke of but never seen Czech Racing stands ( circa 1974 from Super Hunky )?

doesnt anyone remember me ? I rode for Bultaco & Honda in the GLORY days.
I tell you a 77 Pursang 250, with Metzlers, and good Konis on the back will still beat any new bike on a easier MX track, no triples etc.. Nice site.
